A Dark Mind

In a corrupt utopian society called "Ahab", where ideas such as death and life are not taught (but are practiced by "Ahab" in secrecy), a young man named jak accidentally witnesses the death of his coworker by their "supervisor" (boss). He obsesses with the idea that the supervisor had ended his something that his coworker had, and Jak tries to figure out the thing the coworker had. He creates the idea that people have a thing he refers to as a "Light Mind", and that it goes away. He thinks that when it goes away it becomes "A Dark Mind". He eventually grows angry at his supervisor for ending his coworkers "Light Mind", and eventually kills his supervisor. Afterwords, he explains the Idea of "Dark Minds" and "Light Minds" to his other coworkers, and coaxes them to rebel against the utopian society.
