Music Video Treatment

Members of Low Vs. Diamond start jamming away to "Don't Forget Sister". The camera slowly tracks away from the band to reveal a large meeting room filled with business people. It's chaos as they scurry around, signing papers and answering calls. There is one man in particular that is being pushed around by his associates, Dan (age 27). He holds his phone between his ear and shoulder while people shove papers and folders at him.

Annie, a girl (age 9) wearing a baseball cap, tugs Dan's sleeve and hands him a baseball. Confused, he takes it and dives back to work. Howie, the drummer, runs around the edge of the table tapping away to the beat. Lucas, the lead singer, climbs onto the middle of table and continues to sing.

The camera pushes in on the boss who stands up and points his finger at Dan. The boss starts counting off a million tasks, popping his fingers out one by one to the beat. Dan drops everything, salutes his boss and runs out the door. Annie peeks out the door and runs after him.

Dan runs down the street with his briefcase. He stops in front of a parked car and searches for his keys. He suddenly remembers the girl that gave him the baseball and pulls the ball out of his pocket.

Dan feels a light tug on his sleeve and he looks down to see Annie, the girl with the baseball cap. It's his little sister from childhood. She hands him a baseball cap and runs off. He puts it on and begins running after her. As he does he throws away his brief case and rips off his blazer and white collared shirt. Underneath he is wearing a baseball shirt. Suddenly Dan feels decades younger and liberated.

The camera booms down a set of bleachers to show Low Vs. Diamond performing. Beyond the bleachers, Dan and Annie come running onto a baseball diamond to join a group of little leaguers. Dan is still 27-years-old but his baseball shirt and shorts make him look like a little boy. All the boys' jaws drop when they see the girl. The fat bully pitcher crosses his arms and shakes his head. He motions to two skinny outfielders that come and drag Annie away. They dump her to the side and throw pom poms at her.

The band is passionately trying to convey a message to Dan from the bleachers. Boom down to show Annie walking away. Dan follows suit and tries to stop her, but she pulls away and keeps walking. He blocks her path and hands her a bat. Dan runs a couple yards away and pitches her a ball. Annie slams the ball so hard it soars over the boys on the baseball diamond. All of them stare in shock as the ball plops down on the grass just beyond the fence. Dan and Annie run back to the baseball field. They scream and do cartwheels to each base. They high five each other when they make it to home. Then they hold their hands out in front and spin around and around.

The band is rocking out hard in the bleachers. Cut back to Dan who is still spinning around, but alone in his business suit. He stops spinning himself and looks around puzzled. All the other kids are gone. He walks home with a day dreamy look in his eye.

The next day, Dan is sitting in the meeting room with his colleagues. The band is playing at the back of the room again. Annie is sitting a couple seats down. Annie grabs a peanut from a bowl of trail mix sitting on the table. She catapults it at Dan with a spoon. Startled he looks up then laughs. He tries to fling a piece of crumpled paper at her, but it hits Dan's boss on the cheek. The boss looks up with a stoic look. He stands up and Dan is terrified. The boss grabs Annie's spoon and catapults a raisin from the bowl. Everyone's look of terror has melted away and laughter fills the room. The band members come closer to the action. Lucas and the guitarists, Anthony and Jon, are on the table rocking away. Dan's colleagues throw paper planes and spitballs and chuck a variety of small items and at each other. The camera pulls away to show chaos once again, but this time everyone is having a blast.
