Simon Jacobson is the current errand boy at the local news station. He delivers the coffee, runs to the store and even cleans up the break room, always looking for that chance to move his career forward as a journalist. His chance arises when his first assignment is to report at the scene of a grisly murder, excited, he heads to the scene. Over the next few months, the same killer strikes, leaving a trail of grisly messes, and every time he/she strikes, Simon would be sent to the scene. He had hit the top, and thought life couldn't get any better. But, One night, he is called out of bed to head to the newest crime scene but upon arriving, theres nothing out of the ordinary. No cops, no ambulances or coroners. Thinking they're the first on the scene, they head inside. Moments later, he walks in on one of the film crew butchering a woman and her two daughters. Horrified, he runs from the house, and doesn't report into work the next day. When he finally gets the nerve to turn on the television to watch the news, his face is on screen, as the prime suspect for the murders. He is wanted dead or alive, now he must run from the people he cares about and try to uncover the terrifying truth about the local news.
