Panelist Commentary
As a period piece the elaborate sets and costumes would eat up a large portion of the budget. Is the "Axeman" actually inspired by a true story? This is unclear. Eerie tone. Great location choice. The concept is vague. It would benefit from more back story on the Axeman. Good foundation.

CEO & Partner After Dark FilmsAgain, I appreciate the period setting, especially New Orleans in early 20th century. But this pitch does not tell us anything except the basics. Death by axe is pretty horrific and brutal though. Could be a thinking man's HATCHET if handled properly.
