Synopsis
Irv Moulton wakes up on the kitchen floor of his apartment to find two detectives looming over him and the place ransacked. As the detectives begin questioning Irv about the evening's events, two separate backstories begin to unfold-- one with his wife (Elsa), the other with his lover (Velora)-- revealing that the robbery is actually part of a larger plan by Irv to do away with Elsa. Why? Because of that "look": a look of such scorn and resentment that it has been reduced to a silent, subtle perch upon her face, preying upon Irv night and day like a ridiculing vulture. Faced off against the detectives in a game of questioning, Irv believes the cards are in his favor and that he has gotten away with murder. But this could not be farther from the truth...(**SPOILER**) When Irv's bloodied and beaten wife suddenly appears before him, Irv realizes that these are not your run-of-the-mill detectives he has been questioned by but rather agents of purgatory, and that his dire efforts to get away with murder have literally landed him in hell with a broken neck. A cozy place for just him and his wife. And that "LOOK." Forever.
