UNHALLOWED GROUND

1978 - Rebecca and Garrison Kaney, the owners of The Suomi Hovi Hotel nestled in the sleepy town of High Point Junction, are preparing for the annual Halloween celebration at their kiddie park called The Enchanted Fairytale Land. But when three local children sneak into the playground to test an old legend at the Wishing Well, they awaken an ancient, evil curse buried deep beneath the playland grounds that will change the community of High Point Junction forever. Thirsting for the blood of the hotel owner's infant child Ben, Garrison gives his life so Rebecca and his son Ben can escape High Point Junction's deadly legacy.

CUT TO PRESENT DAY -Rebecca awakens from her recurring nightmare from that fateful night 30 years ago. But this time, She realizes the cursed legacy of High Point Junction has finally discovered her hidden whereabouts. Rebecca attempts to explain her secret past to her unsuspecting son Ben - who has grown into a disturbed young man who battles nightmares, depression and Rebecca's overprotective coddling. But before she can reveal to him the entire truth of their family's dark, haunted past, she is taunted by demons trying to possess her soul in order to get to Ben. She commits suicide in order to protect him.
From this hidden former life comes Ben's inheritance - an abandoned hotel establishment and a deserted fairytale land attraction for children, located in the hills of rural New Jersey in decaying High Point Junction. Ben travels to his parent's hometown to claim his estate, only to discover that the townsfolk, all burdened by severe, unusual afflictions, want no part of him or the forsaken property he was bequeathed. Ben is being watched by a group of suspicious townies that answer to a mysterious, black veiled old woman called 'The Widow Thorne'.
On his first night alone in the decrepit hotel, Ben is plagued by nightmares of dead children, hideous specters and the 'Dhim-Mahn-Bae-Hae' - ancient demons that haunt the playland in the fog. Everything is coming 'alive' with Ben's presence on the property. Will he find the answers he's searching for before the clock strikes twelve on the feast of Samhain - or will the legacy of a town possessed by an ancient evil leave him no route for escape? Ben must uncover the secret of his family's deadly past or forever loose his sanity.
