Varied Character
Acting started with *Man of La Mancha* in high school, then *House of Blue Leaves* in college. In Hollywood--with the shave of a beard and head--I've gone from character typecasting as Homeless Biker Cowboy Pirate Rabbi to playing typecast **supporting characters** such as Stalker Swinger Romulan Engineer King. With an occasional turn as Psychotic Assassin Cowboy. I do not necessarily want to land a series, but rather be the working character actor whom you recognize and whose name you do not know, but still stop from time to time in the store or street.

Chicago boy, graduated from the U. of Illinois with a B.S. in Communications. I've appeared in Man of La Mancha and, worked with the Children's Theatre Workshop (America's Presidents), in Greensleeve's Magic, Krannert Center for the Performing Arts' production of The House of Blue Leaves, and LA's The Oneness of God, Romeo & Juliet, and Tom Thumb. Cast in film and television co-star roles as Homeless (Wanda at Large) or Hassidic (The District), I can also be seen as a Greenbeard in Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest, paranoid schizophrenic with Kevin Spacey's in K-PAX, with the Rock in Scorpion King, Romulan in 2009's Star Trek, and that almost recognizable fellow in TV commercials. I also work as a free-lance writing consultant (www.josefklus.com) and coach to business professionals, see (www.JSKcoaching.com).
