• Bio

  My name is Dennis Carter Jr., and I grew up in a showbiz family, and have been entertaining since I was little. From clowning around, literaly, to working behind the scenes in community theater and acting in them, I have done alot. In High School, I was awarded the World War Veteran Award In Media Arts. The Highest award a student could receive in this field . I then went on to voice overs at my college radio station , where I had my own comedy show. Like High School, through college, I continued to write, film, and act in short stories for myself and other students. When I graduated college, I struggled with various , as I call them, normal boring jobs to pay the bills. BUt I still did acting and voice over work in between. One thing I did, is perform physically and vocally as Bullwinkle The Moose in parades, and TV to promote the openning of the restaurant on Long Island. Another job, and still do to this day, is work as an improv actor in a Haunted House attraction on Long Island. THis will be my 12th year in a row working here this October 2008. I not only am an actor, but also make up artist, design consultant, audio provider, and scare director for other actors. over the years, I think I have been type cast as a Mad Scientist character, but everyone says I do it so well, I can't complain. I always have so much fun!!! Some things I have done was an extra in some films, and last year I obtained my first feature role in a horror film called "The Dead Matter", which is coming to theatres this year. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0eB90iWK9g This is a link to a short film on YouTube I played two characters in called "Jasper Kane". I also performed in many plays , and voice over work for various companies, and an artist for a teen magazine for a short time. Currently I am working on my own cartoon series which I hope to get picked up by a ntework, (easier said then done), and I still go to auditions for acting and voice over jobs.
