  Overview

• Bio

  Stephanie became interested in the Media Arts ever since she was a child. She was on her high school's news team where she worked with her classmates to have high-tech video equipment which allowed video feed from "the playing field" or any other part of the school to be played live in each classroom. On top of being on the news team, she was on the student council and yearbook committees and organized community service events. She was also co-captain of her cheer-leading and dance squad. Later, Stephanie went to college and majored in Journalism and Media Arts, with a minor in Communications. While in college, she was in the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Program where she filmed and documented all of the major events in her detachment. While in the program, she was the president of Silver Wings, a philanthropic nation-wide military organization and on the Color Guard. She is certified in basic ground courses in aviation. Also while in college, she was a part of UATV and The CatScan online magizine for students and alumni. In her junior year, she was selected in a competetive program to be a broadcast intern for Arizona Capital Television. As an intern, she produced and edited all the Senate and House meetings and condensed the important news into a half-hour show that aired state-wide on a weekly basis. Her most ambitious project was in her senior year by organizing a border issues debate for PBS with a camcorder and the help of her classmates.
  Outside of school, Stephanie has produced film projects with Americorp (a national volunteer service organization), The Children's Advocacy Center of Southern Arizona, the University of Southern California and The National Association of Latino Independent Producers - to name a few. She will present her latest project with co-partner John this coming summer which is a teaser of future feature attractions to come. Overall, Stephanie feels karmic with all the opportunities life has presented so far and believes that a lot of preparation brings all the luck one needs when you believe in the possibilities.
