Veronique N. Doumbe was born in France and raised in Cameroon, France and Ivory Coast.

She works as an editor at Earth Video http://www.earthvideo.net/VeroEdit.html and she directs through her production company Ndolo Films,LLC.

The 75 minute documentary, "Denis A. Charles: An interrupted conversation", released in 2002 won: - Best Video Documentary Production at the XVII Black International Cinema 2002 (Berlin, Germany).
- 2002 Audience Award for Best feature at Detroit Docs (Detroit, Michigan).
- Ciny award 2002 for Outstanding Documentary, CinewomenNY. (New York City).

"Luggage", a short fiction was released in 2007. The film was awarded - the Deffie Award for best short at HD2007 (runner up) - "Honorable Mention" at The Pen and Brush "Hands, Heads, Hearts", a juried exhibition for women of African descent (2008).

"Waterslide", a music video featuring Scottie Gage was shown extensively on LOGO in 2008.

"The Birthday Party" based on a screenplay written by Sherry McGuinn was honored with:
- The Dikalo award for best fiction short at the 2009 Pan African Film Festival in Cannes.
- The Award of Merit in the category Contemporary Issues, Ethics, Religion in the 2009 Accolade Competition.
- The Micro Mini Award at the 2009 Reel Sisters of the Diaspora Film Festival.
- The Gold Kahuna Award for Excellence in Filmmaking at the 2010 Honolulu International Film Festival.
- Best film/video on matters relating to the Black Experience/Marginalized People at the XXV. Black International Cinema Berlin 2010

She is developing a documentary called "Woman to Woman" which she is co-directing with her teenage daughter.
